Adventures In Writing Online

All writers will at some point begin to journey into the adventure known as the online world.  Now, some are more adventuresome than others, and some are not.  Some want to be writing online and make money online and some are here simply to enjoy the time and work that they do with their writing.

Some writers find a niche and find that while they have a bit of extra cash, they also have a lot of joy and passion about writing and can find that in this business there is no such thing as a break for them.  (Fact: We all need a break form writing every one and a while)

The most important thing to understand is that a writer should take the idea of writing online and think of it as an adventure where they will have a huge learning curve but that there is a lot of passion that they can put into a blog or a website or something where they can find the groove of writing each day.

No adventure, including writing, would be complete without some sort of challenge and that can, and usually is time.  Time is a beast that can defeat most would be writers who want to write online, as they often have some freelance work which is more pressing than say a blog which does get a bit of traffic but not much, and then they feel that they need to write for longer periods of time.

Or it is the challenge of commitment, it is not easy writing a blog, and hoping that you will get enough traffic on said blog to get some comments or have readers come each day and write some comments.  After all it is hard to write when you can only get a few people coming to the blog.  The challenge is then to expand on your writing and make you work more visible, some sort of creative spark.  Some will call this challenge the challenge of making magic in their online work on a more regular basis

So what is the adventure you find in your writing?

I'm not sure it's an adventure as much as a compulsion. I HAVE to write something, somewhere. Being able to get feedback just sweetens the deal!
    Love your blog, BTW.
