On Living a Life of Writing… Does that Include Publishing?
When writing most people think of writing as, writing. You are writing something, it can be good, or it can be something that is not so good. Either way you are writing. Do this act called writing often enough and your are living a life of writing.
To most writers the idea of writing is that at some point you will make enough money that you can quit the day job. Many writers dream of this day. Often they wonder how they are going to be able to do such a thing.
The easiest answer is by living a life of writing. This means that one will commit to writing and working on their writing (also called editing) each day and that they will try to promote their work as best as they can. Of course the question is how do you promote your writing?
One way to do this is to think about publishing. See, in one way publishing works with writing. To have money one must write and have their work published to a good audience. This often isn’t as easy as it looks. It takes long hours of perfecting writing and understand your audience, and then getting to the published work. It is the same if you publish with a self-publishing company or a traditional publishing company. The finished product must be excellent.
Some writers will look to publishing as being a different but complimentary part the umbrella called “writing” to me it is all a part of living a life of writing. Your writing will simply be on your computer if you don’t publish it, and the joy of seeing your book in print is a joy that one can not explain.
Still, Why do we write?
To be living a life of writing.

I just wrote an article on writing and promoting what you write. Wow what a coincidence. I read this after I wrote it too.
