Rebecca, are you serious? This is an actual and true depiction of the email? Was the novel written in the same manner?
My response? Ok, I have to put my filters in place.

Oh, boy, this is really bad. Really, really, really bad.
The new "texting" query!
Rebecca
Duchess– other than the name taken out that is fact the email in its "unedited" glory. that was it. just that.
Rebecca
Christy– sometimes i just shake my head.. and yes an honest email query. Please people no "u" in queries.

One can only imagine the state of the manuscript after reading this pathetic correspondence. Makes me shiver. And if you take Duchess's advice and tell him to edit — please don't give him my name. I have no patience with "writers" who can't write or spell beyond the parameters of texting.
I think I'd suggest he go out and buy a book on writing query letters, or at least check them out on the internet.
This one is definitely a delete.
Rebecca
lynda– yes, it seems most people want something right now or yesterday but don't want to dot he work. No won't mention your name.

you are joking, why would anyone text a request?? Of course I know you are not, that end that idea.
