What Does Publishing Have to Do With Anything?

Publishing really is the lifeblood of any writing.  The thing you want most– whatever that may be, is only because you have published something.

Now, before you suggest that this means publishing a book, I’ll give you a list of the many things which would be considered published.

1) Online writing:  Go on, go to hubpages or to excerptz or to wikinut or really any sort of writing site, the pages you see are considered “published” and there you can make some type of money, but that isn’t the point, the point is that you are publishing something you have written.

2) Blogs:  Yes a good blog post ( a bad one!) is published.  This is why you might want to think twice about writing just your point of view if you consider what people might read or find.

3) E-books, and books: Yes no matter which way you might want to put it, self-publishing publishing you are still writing these things to publish.  That is the key– that your goal is to have someone– other than you read what you have written.

So, yes go on hit that publish button because int eh end that is what you need to do, you need your work to be seen by people.
