Wow I am Famous! (At Least Someone Knows Me….) The Living a Life of Writing Avatar.
I was out and about today, mostly heading to the library. In this case I was minding my business. Then I was asked by someone if I knew of the writer of this blog they had found on the Internet.
I asked them which blog is it? ( this is a small local library– so people do talk to one another!) the lady told me that she was reading the blog called Living a Life of Writing. she was a long time fan, but I admit I was surprised, I’ve never been told I had a good blog– at least not to my face!
You could have knocked me over. I don’t think I stuttered much, but I did tell her that I wrote it. She had to ask what was with my avatar, I seemed nice enough. (thanks!) Still I had to give a explanation after all it is a bit of site promotion and a happy reader.
As for my avatar, it was something I did on the spur of the moment, and I did it thinking it was neat to have a avatar which was based upon my family history– Saxons of Transylvania had this shield and after a while it stuck.
So, finally I feel famous, but it isn’t me who did it, it is my readers…. So thanks for making Living a Life of Writing famous.
