Writing and Publishing: The Self-Publishing Adventure
May 18, 2011
After much writing, much editing, and many long nights: I sent my book to CreateSpace and am waiting for some proofs. I am assuming there will be some mistakes, but that is okay.
It is better to find mistakes before they are published. Self-publishing has a poor reputation, mostly because I think people don’t edit or check after the proofs have come in.
I also think I’ll be using the preview part of the community to have a look at my work to make sure it look okay.
As a side note to my writing friends: Yes, after publishing my book, I can say in all honesty I will make money with my book. (Even one sold books counts doesn’t it?)
