Yes, I had to laugh.  I got traffic from the search engines here.  This blog which I have worked so hard on is now getting more search engine traffic.  That in and of itself is pretty neat.  There was more, and I couldn’t believe it.  It only got better.  The search term was…

make money by telling someone something?

Okay, that has to be the best.  It made my day.  I guess that writers do make money by telling someone something.  I think we write to tell our stories or share our feelings, and we aren’t to “attached” to stats, but in a way they do provide a good blog topic.  I wasn’t sure what to write about until I read that search term.

I think it goes farther than that.  The telling part is one thing, but the doing part is totally different.  I can tell you to “edit, edit, edit” but you don’t have to do that. 

I can, on hubpages, tell you how to make money online, as that is my main focus there.  In fact I now even have a website started on that very topic.  Still, it was by doing something that made these things possible. 

So, I think a better term would be to tell and to show how to do whatever you are doing to help someone else.
