I was asked this question what brings you joy?
well, what does bring a person joy? In terms of writing what brings you joy?
Is it the first draft where you simply write?
Is it the money/ advance you get?
Is it the editing?
What gives you joy in your writing?

The initial rush, when an idea drops from my recesses and continues dripping until it becomes a stream, a scene and finally, a story.
