How to Tell Someone I am A Writer and I Make Money
Everyone loves to write and make money but the key thing about doing that is that they have to be willing to do this on a regular basis. Since publishing books is on every one’s mind this year, let’s have a throwback to telling people that you are a writer.
This is meant to be funny but also some ideas to improve your courage when telling those you love that you are working as a writer.
1) Stand up and smile: Standing is best as you have been working all day in front of your computer. Makes you look more dignified.
2) Say in a clear voice that you do make money online with this writing: You can tell them that you are a blogger or a freelance writer or whatever. Do not be shy. If people can tell you that they are a banker, you can tell them you are a writer.
3) Do this often: If you need to convince yourself that you indeed write, plan to say this more than once a day.
4) Be positive: You are a writer, and if you have a following you are a writer of some talent. There you go, what is not to be afraid of? You write, and you either have a plan to make money or you are publishing a book which will make you money. So what are you worried about?

I think some people will also find you interesting when you tell them you're a writer and may want to engage you more. Watch out for the ones who want to tell you their life stories so you can write a novel about it for a share of the profits. I've found them to be the hardest ones to deal with. How do you tell someone, sorry your story is not interesting enough to turn into a novel:-)
