Publishing is really go back and fix it.
January 5, 2010
Publishing a book? well I do think that publishing is really editing and that means if you publish you go back and fix it, until it is better.
of course you need to have a bit of marketing to this, and I can recommend two sites which not only talk about marketing but they do it.
Micheal’s blog Book Making
and Christy’s blog the Publishing Maven
The reason I mention these two bloggers, is that not only do they self-publish but they also can point out the pitfalls and do not of any author who plans to publish a book. Love the “fiction novel” comment, Christy!
What do you think is the most important part to fixing an article or a book or anything?

Ha, ha! Yes, publishing IS all about re-writing and re-checking and marekting– almost none of the business is actually writing, which drives me crazy!
Thanks for the link!

Christy not a problem love the list! I think we should rename it to rewriting industry.
