When Writers Meet… We Talk Writing and Publishing
December 29, 2009
I’ve been bad these days… Holidays are fun, but busy… not much writing, not much business planning not much publishing ideas or editing, just family. ( And a few old friends for a “small” dinner…)
It’s almost over just a few more days and then back to the old grind of page after page. What happens when two writers get together?
We talk writing and publishing. A lot of it, for a long time.
One of my writing friends writes screenplays, and I write books, but it doesn’t matter, we still have common ground.
A bit of Writing and a lot more Publishing.
If you get together with friends, who happen to write, what do you talk about?

We try to recall when we last talked about something other than writing and then break into a hearty laugh!!!

I doubt writers will ever talk about anything but writing really.

Writing has been a far fetched dream of mine. I never had the luxury to have a conversation with a writer, until recently. I was shocked when a coworker informed me that our boss wrote a book, and it got published.
I asked her about it, she laughed, and she said "it's a fantasy, and it's all bull _ _ _ _"
