Writing a Blog? Daily Blog.. An Easy Blog? Why are you Asking me THIS?!

I know so many question so small a title, but think about it, when writing a blog what goes on in your mind about it? Do you want to write a daily blog? Do you want an easy blog, where you basically send twitter like notes to it? All of these things are something to think about.

For example my goal in writing my blog is this: “To encourage other blog writers along their path to a more powerful blog. To encourage writers along their writing path.” Big words for such a little blog, but I like to think big.

I write a daily blog, or at least attempt to do so, and it’s not all that hard, it simply takes some time, and one needs to crave that out. It is my daily routine for writing. After more than a year, it’s a great daily routine for me. I love it. There are so many ways that I can write and share with people.

Which is why I write a daily blog. It makes the connections more positive. Except for a few days when I’m traveling I do try to do a daily blog. I also enjoy working with hub pages but that is another post of its own!

I believe this is an easy blog and that anyone can navigate around, but still we’re all in this together. As such I’ll list a few blogs which Do a great job of being both an easy blog and a more or less daily blog.

BJ Anderson, Carrie Eckles I only mention one of hers but check all of her blogs out, Jennifer Roland, and of course Jill Edmondson.

Gotta love them blogs.

My question for you today is this: What do you want from a blog? An easy blog? A daily blog? or something else… and why?

My blog is my lounge, where I hang out and chat to my readers and friends about whatever seems appropriate that day. As a writer/blogger, it's an easy blog for me on days when I'm creatively inspired, or there's a big event in my life, and a very hard blog, when my life seems dull and routine. Not sure it's an easy blog for my readers, because it reflects many aspects of me and my projects, so content is across a variety of topics.
It used to be a 5-day a week blog, but I recently started posting daily.

My blogs, are an outlet for my writing and have helped me on my eventual path to write a novel.

They keep me writing. I have set deadlines for each of my blogs, they are all posted on weekly.

I love blogging and could quite easily have a daily blog. BUT there's only 24 hours in a day. Earlier this year I had to make a decision whether I want to be a published author or a good blogger, because time contraints just don't allow me to do both.

I tried to get a balance. My blog is used as a reflection of my writing (for e.g I'll post a review on a writing book I've read, or I'll blog about an aspect of writing that worries me, e.g. my September writing tip In Pursuit of Excellence). I blog strictly twice a month. I do, when time permits, try to visit other blogs, but I don't always get to everyone all the time. Usually I make a point of visiting those who comment on my blog – it feels courteous to repay their time and trouble.

I know my blogging could be improved, but at the moment it's working well without either stealing my limited writing time or putting me under undue pressure. You could say I'm content to be a part-time blogger. 🙂

Like Carrie, I also write several blogs (which by the way I also enjoy her writing). One is a daily inspirational blog which I do post daily. I enjoy writing and that is the why of it all. I have a blog on health and fitness which I post at least 3 times a week. I have a humorous blog which I post most days. I have a poetry blog which I post when I am inspired to write a poem which has been averaging about 6 a month. Finally I have one I use to journal my feelings and my life which I write as I have time. I guess you would call it an easy blog.

The reason I have so many blogs is because I started writing the health and fitness blog first but from time to time there were other things I wanted to write about so I started grouping them. For example, At one time or another I have written a poem on each of my blogs but now I post them all to my poetry blog. So my goals on each blog are different except for fulfilling my love for writing.

I think that answers all of your questions. You're probalbly thinking, yes, more than I wanted to know. LOL I enjoy reading your blog and appreciate the information you pass along. Hope you have a nice weekend.

Great, great questions! I want professionalism from my blog, with a touch of happiness and personality! I love going to someone's blog and seeing that they interact, that they care about their followers, and that they are serious about what they do. Great post!
