Medicine and the Value of Medical Tourism
I have a passion for travel and for writing but at the same time I also have a passion for medicine. I try to keep up with it, and always like to learn about the techniques from different countries. Medical Tourism Association is a great website to learn about this. There is value in knowing and learning the type of care people can receive in different countries. With health care becoming an issue in people’s daily lives this website gives a strong type of information about medical tourism. The website is easy to navigate and the information it gives is simple and straightforward.
It is a non-profit organization and it has a membership application, in an easy to find place. As an international organization, it gives plenty to read and to think about. Health is a valuable thing, and it shows that many people will go and spend money to keep up their health. In this association there are many hospitals, some even in the United States, so one doesn’t need to go far away to get medical care.
A quick look at the thoughts about this tourism, can be found on the Internet and in newspapers. It is a business and something to think about and write about. I think it is a beneficial thing for some people and for some countries. This website is well laid out and allows a person to see the benefits of this interesting facet of medicine: Medical Tourism.
My Question for you today is this: What is the Value to you of medical tourism? If you needed to be healthy and this was an option would you take this? If it meant you could write stronger and better now that you didn’t have a health issue would you consider this?

I'm glad that medical tourism exists. I went for years without medical insurance when I went through college (like millions of others) and I always fel pretty healthy. It sucked when I had to pay to remove my wisdom teeth ($2,000– a huge sum for me in 1996).
I'm pretty sure that if my son needed a kidney I'd do WHATEVER it took to get one, including going somewhere else to get one.

Though I won't consider it as a career option, but Medical Tourism is pretty essential, considering the differet conditions in different countries means different diseases. An awareness to this is ultra-important.
