Writers Write

So what is the best thing for a writer to do? The simple answer is: write.

Of course the better answer is write and then publish your work and then make it better the next time you write another book.  Long winded answer I know.

 Even a blog. Even on paper. I find my little notebook helps me save some ideas that I usually find I get about ten minutes after I shut down my computer for the night.  In this writign world, you need to be very passionate about what you are writing about.

In the morning I then can look at the note and remember better my idea. If it has nothing to do with my novel or my non-fiction, I let it be… for now.

It also helps see where my ideas are going, which ones really work for the manuscript that I’ve done, or am currently working on.

What I’m reading:

 the Singing Sword by Jack Whyte. I’m excited about the rest of the series. I think it’s about seven or eight books. Great topic of King Arthur and the Romans.
