Just Publish

I think more than a few writers feel this need:  Just get that book published.

After all we write and write and than we hope that it will be published. 

I think we’d like to say no one will notice a couple of errors, but really our readers are smart, and if we want to ‘just be published’ we should bear this in mind.

One small error will hurt.  As the writer I might not see it, but if I do, well, so will others.  Just publish?

Yes, but make your edits first.  Then just publish that book you are working so hard for. That is when I think it is safe to just publish.
