What Do You Enjoy About Writing
Sometimes writing stresses me out. I feel that the words don’t want to roll out. I feel the anxiety of trying to think of something that is worthwhile. As I sit here at my laptop trying to put into verse something that is already clear in my mind, I should have no incentive or need to write about it. We write in order to understand, not to be understood.
I suppose I can now say I fully understand the phrase “I have writers block”. Having your ideas swim in your head but not materialize on your screen is frustrating and annoying.
I sit here and say to myself, write from the heart and soul and let talent flow, as though I just turned on a tap and unleashed all my thoughts, ideas, questions and any knowledge that I have.
Writing is our way of living the lives of various characters that we only hoped to be. There is a book in everyone.
In the end writing is about enriching the lives of those who will read your work, and enriching your own life as well. Keep on writing.

Oh no, not the dreaded writer's block! I tend to type what's in my head. While nothing may make sense right now, it may later. Get the junk out of your head first even if it's typing three words over and over again.
The muse will come. Or take a break and do something else. Take a walk. do the dishes. Wash a window.
