How To Make Money Blogging… Do You Care Enough?

There is no simple way to explain how to make money online or anywhere. You just have to do it, and you have to focus. You have to put in the hours to make what you want to make– or it won’t happen. You have to focus and work at it, and that includes blogging. Then you have to do it all over again. It doesn’t seem fair that this is what you have to do in life. Blogging is much the same way, and so is writing to have a book published. You have to love it a lot to continue to write a blog even after you hit a few bumps along the way.

Think of it as if you are creating a future buried treasure: You have a blog, and you want people to find that blog. The question after that is not how much money you can earn by continuing to write on your blog, but rather how can you make money by blogging. There are hundreds of ways to generate the income you want with your writing, and blogging is just one of them. It takes hard work, and that can be summed up in a few points:

How to make money blogging: Create your own blog. It doesn’t help you much if you are a guest blogger for others. If you don’t have your own blog, control of your income stream is in the hands of others. They hire you, and you only make a portion of the money that they make for your one or two blog posts. Being a blogger allows you to work from pretty much any location. Whether you decide to use your portable wifi device in a cafe or a coffee shop, blogging can be a way for you to start making money. It may take some time, but it will be worth it in the long run. But with this being said, making money shouldn’t be your only reason to write. If you aren’t sure how to start a blog, there resources out there that can help with that. Doing research is a great way to get started, there are a lot web hosting review sites out there, like best wordpress hosting canada, that might be helpful to you, when trying to find the site that fits you. You will need to ask yourself if you can seriously make money blogging. If you answer that writing a blog is a hobby, then it is a good indication that you should not, or will not want to learn more about money or blogging.

How to make money blogging: Don’t write for your readers, write for yourself. As you write more posts, you will learn what makes your readers want to comment and what makes them stay and want to find out about your books. The best thing about a blog is that you are creating an online personality, and then you write something that makes them care, because you care. While your readers don’t perhaps care about what you did today, they do care about your usefulness to them. If you can find inspiration to write about something that you know, something that you feel strongly about, then over time you will learn what generates money, and what keeps your blog alive.

How to make money blogging: Just write and publish a post. It doesn’t have to be every day, but each post does need to have a purpose. You are a writer? You’ve published a book? A blog is a means to sell your book, and on the side earn a bit more income if you have affiliate programs. This won’t happen overnight, but you need to start by publishing a blog post.

If you want to do this, and you care enough to write, spend some time — even once a week — to write and publish a blog post. It can mean more money than you think.

For me my writing blog is connecting to readers and other writers. So I've broken it up into days for what I talk about. For example on Mondays- it's my mailbox, Tuesday it's terms that affect writers in the marketplace or wanna-be, Wednesday is for honing your craft and marketing, Thursday & Saturday is for whatever strikes my fancy. Friday is a fun day with interviews and reviews on everything that could be construed as fun, on Sunday it's my stroke survival as an author and a person.

All in all it's retraining my brain towards writing better after my stroke.

Now my ministry blog is twice a month. It could be more, but I'm not practicing right now.

I agree. Companies are looking for blog writers so more is out there to be made, if a writer wants to. I see ads all the time for blog writers.
