I sometimes check my spelling really I do….
Still this is why I love spell checker, it sometimes can’t check my spelling… but as my loyal readers know sometimes neither can I!

Long ago – before home computers were the norm – I paid a guy to do my resume. We checked over content, dates, jobs, etc. He told me after my final proofread additional changes would have a fee.
I didn't notice my surname had been spelled incorrectly. DUH! Expensive and embarrasing mistake.
